I went to the Met on Friday night to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit Savage Beauty. My already high esteem for him only grew when I discovered some of the inspiration for his lines. Haute Couture is not meant to be common. It is art in a pure form, using the human figure as a muse. McQueen does it well.
